Logo: DisegnoHTX
DisegnoHTX owner, Natalie Cochran is very clear on her vision of her company as well as what she likes and dislikes when it comes to branding. The original studio, Disegno Studio logo was created in 2015. She came to us in 2018 to update and add an edge to a new logo for the second amalgamation of her business, Disegno HTX.
We used the Pantone color of the year as our inspiration, but picked a grey to be her main color. Each year we update the pallet of her business cards, social media and website to match, but keeping the grey version as the primary logo. We also added the “map point” with HTX to emphasize the importance of the city of Houston to the essence of her work and brand. Finally we added the “frame” around her logo to insinuate the frame of a painting.
“Blank Walls Suck” also seen as #blankwallssuck is the irreverent tag used in her social media. I have also designed the neon sign of the # to be used in her gallery.
Natalie started working with artists about a decade ago and opened Disegno Studio in 2015. DisegnoHTX is the next step in the evolution of Natalie’s vision that combines her business acumen with her love of art, making art more assessable to a wider range of collectors.
