Cabinet Innovations has been a wonderful, long-term client for over a decade. Together we have created several iterations of their logo as they have grown and trends in design have evolved.
The first logo was created with Carlos Hernandez in 2008 to evoke the idea of a cabinet opening using the brown and light blue palate popular at that time.
In 2015 InkWell updated that logo to streamline the look and feel of the logo to include shades of brown to illude to wood, and then keep the cabinet premise in the logo. We updated the fonts to a family that was used in all the ads and on the website.
The company was sold to the protege of the owner and in 2018 we refined the logo a step further by using the true Modernist movement celebrating the 100 year anniversary and use tones of gray, a modernist font and really clean lines.
I am proud of our 11-year relationship and the evolution of the brands we’ve developed as a team.
